This was experimental project that I've used to learn some new software. Blender with Hardops/Boxcutter was used to model left machine and I also used it to do smoke sim. I was pleasantly surprised of the speed and modeling toolset in Blender. It is very capable especially when doing some rapid fast 3D concepting using Hardops/Boxcutter. Sphere asset was modeled in Moi3D and I've used that software because Blender was not very suitable to do a lot of booleans on curved surfaces, in this case NURBS modeler like Moi3D was better fit.
